Billy Dillon

Billy Dillon, PGA is in his third season as the Women's Head Golf Coach and second season as the Men's Head Golf Coach.

Dillon is an Eastern Shore of Maryland native. In college, he made the decision to enter the golf industry on a full time basis. He started the Professional Golfers’ Association of America education program in June 1991 while employed at Jamestown Park Golf Course in Jamestown, North Carolina. In March 1994, he was elected to PGA "Class A" membership and shortly after became the Head Golf Professional at Santee National Golf Club in Santee, South Carolina. After 10 years in Santee, he moved to Columbia, South Carolina where he accepted the Head Golf Professional position at LinRick Golf Course in 2004. In 2006, he coached the men’s and women’s golf teams at Allen University while serving as the professional at LinRick.

In 2007, Billy came to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore as an Assistant Professor & Director of the 20th PGA Golf Management Program accredited by the PGA of America. He currently serves on the Middle Atlantic PGA Section Education Committee. Dillon is a PGA Master Professional (Executive Management) and 28-year member of the Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA).

Dillon currently resides in Bishopville with his wife, Leonora. His son Lane is a former member of the Hawks' men's golf team and graduate of Maryland Eastern Shore's PGA Golf Management program and his daughter Logan is a junior at Maryland Eastern Shore. He graduated from Winthrop University in 1991 with a degree in communications. Dillon received his master's degree from Southern Wesleyan University in management in 2005.
