Princess Anne, MD - The Morgan State University (MSU) Bears came to Princess Anne ready to play on March 11, 2006. They took on a fiery Hawks men's tennis team that was looking for their first win. The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) couldn't muster the victory, falling 7-0 to fall to 0-10 on the year.

Kishan Sudusinghe looked like he was on his way to a win, topping Disa Mhembere 6-2 in the opening set but fell in the next two, 6-1, 6-0. Christopher Clarke also played great, going to tiebreaker in the opener before falling to Joaquin Turley 7-5. He lost the second set 6-4.

The rest of the Hawks scored no more than one point in their matches as all three doubles teams lost 8-1.

UMES will take some time off before traveling to Hampton on March 28, 2006.
