LOYOLA TOPS FIGHTING HAWKS 7-0

BALTIMORE, Md. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Men's Tennis team fell 7-0 to the host Loyola College Greyhounds in a non-conference match-up on March, 15. Loyola shut out the Fighting Hawks at Nos. 2-4 singles, winning 6-0, 6-0, while Rashad James played well at number one singles, before falling to Scott Gannon, 6-1, 6-1.

UMES defaulted at number five and six singles as well as number three doubles. Gannon and Ben Epstein won 8-0 at No. 1 doubles over James and Dorian Thomas while Harold Fowler and William Ntirenganya fell 8-0 at No. 2 singles to Matt McDaniel and Tim Koch.

UMES is back in action on Sunday taking on Morgan State in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference match-up, their first of the season.
