PRINCESS ANNE, Md. -- UMES Athletics is proud to announce that this year's basketball coaches show, the "Coaches Corner," will be on Thursday starting this week on November 18th from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Peaky's, the official restaurant of UMES Athletics, will serve as the host for each show. Peaky's is located on 30361 Mount Vernon Road in Princess Anne, just down the road from the UMES campus.

"We are once again excited to provide an outlet for fans to keep in touch with our basketball programs," says assistant athletic director G. Stan Bradley, "and we are excited that we are able to broadcast at Peaky's, which is not only a sponsor but also a Princess Anne staple."

Men's basketball head coach Frankie Allen and women's basketball head coach Fred Batchelor plus a player from each team will appear on the Coaches Corner, hosted by UMES radio broadcasters Bret Lasky and Dave Vatz.

"We enjoy the coaches show, as it gives us a way to contect with our fans on a weekly basis," says Batchelor, "it is also good for our players to communicate with our supporters off the court."

The coaches show will be broadcast on Timeless Classics WGOP 540 AM, the home for UMES women's basketball.
