NORFOLK, Va. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) took the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week award for the second straight week with the selection of T'Nia Falbo (Greensburg, Pa.). Falbo guided her team to a perfect 10-0 mark in conference play last weekend at a MEAC Northern Division match-up.
She posted a pinfall of 1,043 averaging a 208.60 over five games. She posted three plus 200 games including a career-high 256 in the win over No. 16 Morgan State. She also posted a career high in tournament average at the meet in College Park, Md.
The wins put UMES in first place in the league's northern division and improve their overall mark to 21-4.
She will take her Hawks into the UMES Hawk Classic this weekend. The event features 13 of the nation's top 16 teams and will be hosted by Millsboro Lanes in Millsboro, Del. Friday through Sunday, November 19-21.
