Nov. 24, 2015 NORFOLK, Va.- For the third time this season, Hawks senior bowler Thashaina Seraus (Oranjestad, Aruba) was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, as announced by the conference Tuesday.
The senior from Aruba shined at the Hawk Classic in Millsboro, Del. this past weekend. On Friday, she served in the anchor spot for all six Baker matches, helping the team to a 5-1 start. In individuals on Saturday she made the All-Tournament team, coming in fifth overall with a 207.83 average pinfall per game. Her highest game was a 254 in the first game of the day, a victory over Central Missouri.
As a whole, the Hawks finished in third with 12 wins in 15 games.
After the Thanksgiving holiday, the Hawks return to the lanes December 5th and 6th in the second MEAC Northern Division Tournament up Route 13 in Dover, Delaware.
