NORFOLK, Virginia--Maryland Eastern Shore senior Thashaina Seraus (Oranjestad, Aruba) earned her fourth Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week honors this week, announced by the conference on Tuesday.

Seraus helped the Hawks to a ninth place finish at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic outside Nashville, going 11-4 over 15 matches. The bowler herself finished ninth in a field of nearly 200 bowlers during individuals, averaging 204.17 with a game high 230 in a victory over No. 10 Wisconsin-Whitewater.

The Hawks' next challenge will be the 2016 MEAC Championships in Chesapeake, Virginia, starting on Friday.
