SUMMARY:Â
The University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks wrapped up their fourth indoor meet of the season during this weekend's John Thomas Terrier Classic hosted by Boston University. The UMES women had four athletes meet IC4A Qualifying standards while the Hawk men had seven hit ECAC qualifying standards. UMES also had nine athletes finish with personal records (PR) over the weekend.

WOMEN'S OVERALL PERFORMANCE
UMES triple jumper
Faithlyn Irving continued her strong indoor season in the triple jump with a second place leap of 12.50m. Irving has been in the top ten in every meet she has jumped in this season which includes a first place mark (Jan. 13) and two second place finishes (Jan. 20, Jan. 27).
Chloe Lucas ran personal best times in the 200 meter dash (24.85) and in the 400 meter race (55.52).
Mackenzi Evans set a new personal record in the 200 meter race as well with a time of 25.00.
Jonysha Prucien also topped her previous best in the triple jump with a mark of 11.80m.

MEN'S OVERALL PERFORMANCE
Â
The Hawk men were highlighted by
Malachi Aiken's performances in the long jump and triple jump. Aiken won the long jump with a 6.99m mark. He finished third in the triple jump with a ECAC qualifying mark of 14.77m. Sprinter Radjae Reid finished fourth in the 60 meter dash with a new personal best time of 6.90. Reid also hit a new personal best time in the 200 meter race (21.95). Freshman
Andie Kollie finished fifth in the 200 meter race while setting his own personal best pace of 21.71. Personal records were also met by UMES runners
Brandon Alston and
Adrian Dula. Alston set his personal records in the 200 meter race (22.38) and 400 meter race (49.93). Dula hit a new personal best time in the 400 meter race with a time of 49.78. The men's 4 x 400 meter relay time comprised of Kollie,
Destiny Emuze, Alston and Dula ran a ECAC qualifying time of 3:18.86 which placed sixth in the event.
