HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Hawks picked up two more wins on the final day of the 2024 Fifth Annual Vern Stallings Invitational.
• No. 14 Ranked UMES opened with a tough loss to the Mount St. Mary's after defeating the Mount on Saturday.
• The Hawks rebounded with a 4-0 sweep win over fellow MEAC opponent UAB, 773-628.
• UMES closed out the weekend with a win over #12 Tulane, 996-943, to finish ninth at the tournament.
• Gabriella Ochoa Hubbard finished 15th as an individual with Brooke Roberts finishing 20th.
