Trio of Hawks Named All-MEAC

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. -- It's been a long season, and hopefully far from over, as the University of Maryland Eastern Shore bowling team is in Raleigh, N.C. for the 2024 MEAC Bowling Championship this weekend. Prior to the start of the tournament, the conference office has announced the All-MEAC honorees with a trio of Hawks earning a spot on a post-season team.

Brooke Roberts, Mariana Santos Rivero, and Gabriella Ochoa Hubbard each earned a spot on one of the three teams announced tonight.

She also made 394 spare attempts on 287 makeable attempts. She finished in the top 15 in the first two events of the year before finishing 10th at the Hawk Classic. Roberts finished seventh at the Stormin Blue White Vegas Classic with an average 210.60. She also finished 20th at the Vern Stallings Invitational and narrowly missed making the USBC ISC Individual Championships with a sixth place finish at the sectional a few weeks ago.
