Hawks finish fifth at Mercyhurst Evann Parker Memorial Tournament
NORTH EAST, Pennsylvania | The University of Maryland Eastern Shore women's golf team finished in fifth place in this week's Evann Parker Memorial Tournament hosted by Mercyhurst University.
Competing in the third tournament of the fall season, UMES had a pair of golfers finish in a tie for 15th place. Freshman
Bushra Fatima recorded rounds of 82 and 86 to finish in a tie for 15th in individual play while Pak finished with rounds of 85 and 83.
Pearl Omaruaye and
Alysa Davis tied for the next lowest scores from UMES with a two day count of 174.
Tinyan Liu followed with a total stroke count of 182.
As a team, UMES recorded rounds of 344 and 340 for a total of 684. UMES is schedule to compete in the final tournament of the fall season on Oct. 20 at Bellevue Country Club in Syracuse, New York.
