In the midst of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore's MEAC Tournament championship title defense from last season, four Hawks were named to the 2025 Women's Bowling All-Academic Team.
Every eligible student-athlete for the Hawks bowling team was selected to the All-Academic Team as graduate students Brooke Driver and Gabriella Ochoa Hubbard, along with junior Mariana Santos Rivero and sophomore Aaliyah Friend were selected. This is the second year in a row Driver and Santos Rivero were named to the All-Academic Team, and the third time Ochoa Hubbard was named to the team.
The team encompasses 39 student-athletes from the eight institutions that boast a women's bowling program. MEAC sophomore, junior and senior student-athletes with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average, as well as transfer student-athletes who have been in residence at their current institution for at least one year, are eligible for the All-Academic team.
