2013 Outdoor Season: Finished first place in the MEAC Indoor Championships with a 16.90m 55[apos] 5.5' shot put and fourth place with a weight throw of 15.98m 52[apos] 5.25'.
Pre-College: Placed 10th at the 2009 IAAF World Youth Championships in Brixen, Italy for the Shot Put.
High School/Club: Youth Athlete of the Year in 2008...tied for 1st place at the Windward Islands School Games in 2008...member of the Olympians Althletic Club in Dominica...is the country[apos]s national record holder in the shot put and discus.
Personal: Full name is Dillon Myron Simon...born on March 5, 1992...son of Dorian and Agatha Simon....has a brother Donton and a sister Dorita...major is business administration...best personal sports moment was his appearance in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland in 2014, where he finished 7th in the shot put...parents are his biggest influence because they encouraged his pursuit of athletics...wants to work in financefor a Fortune 500 company upon graduation...hobbies outside of sports are Fishing, Hikingand Video Games...favorite book is Gifted Hands by Ben Carson...personal goal for season is to make it to the NCAA National Championships...plans to graduate summa cum laude.
