2015-16: Took part in five events while playing 11 rounds ... the New Orleans native etched himself into the program’s Division I record book, finishing in the top 10 in multiple categories ... Blanco was a member of two teams who won their first tournaments as a NCAA Division I affliate ... he became the first Hawk to win the individual medalist in the school’s brief D-1 history ... this season, Blanco had two top 5 finishes while leading the team in average (76) ... in his season debut at the SWAC/SIAC Collegiate Challenge (Sept. 21-22), he was named to the All-Tournament Team after finishing fifth overall and guided the squad to its first tournament victory as a Division I institution ... at the Virginia State Trojan Fall Classic (Oct. 26-27), he led the team to another win and was named to the All-Tournament Team after taking individual medalist in the event ... tied his personal best, shooting a 71 (-1) in the third round of the Bethune-Cookman Gary Freeman Spring Invitational (March 3-4).
