Biography
2014 Indoor Season: Sprinter who competed in the 60 and 200 meter dashes, as well as a relay or two ... earned her fastest time and a first place finish at the Nelson Townsend Invite with a time of 7.70 seconds in the 60 meter dash ... also took 2nd in a 200 meter dash at that same event ... best time in the 200 meter was 25.04 seconds at the Terrier Invitational, earning Aiken a 19th place finish.
2014 Outdoor Season: Raced eight times between the 100 meter and 200 meter dashes and the 4x100 meter relay ... helped the 4x100 team finish 9th at the Morgan Legacy ... also achieved her collegiate best in the 100 meter at Morgan with a time of 12.39 seconds ... best time in the 200 meter dash was 26.34 seconds at the Mason Invitational.
High School: Ran varsity track from 2010-14...served as captain in the 2013 season...also ran in the Second Chance Track Club...won academic honors all four years of school.
Personal: born October 23, 1995...has three sisters and two brothers...pre game routine includes being quiet and listening to music...best personal sports moment was being 200m champion at indoor states in 2014 while also setting a personal best in the 55 meter...mom and high school coach are biggest influences because they helped push her forward...hopes to travel and become an athletic traine upon graduation...favorite saying is "Rise to the Challenge"...hobbies include cooking and shopping...favorite movie is Aladdin...athletic goal is to do her best.
