Biography
2014 Cross Country: Ran four times in the fall ... fastest time was 20:26.57 at the UMES Lid Lifter ... finished in 18th at the Del. State Invite.
2014 Indoor Season: Was the lone Hawk to compete in the 800 meter run ... top time in that event was a 1:53.70 in Boston in March ... also ran in the 400, 500 and 4x400 relay ... top time in the 400 was 51.85 seconds ... finished second at Navy in the 500 meter dash with a time of 1:06.18 ... helped the 4x400 relay team take fifth at MEACs with a time of 3:18.80.
2014 Outdoor Season: Competed eight times in the spring ... main event was the 800 meter run, which included a 1:51.27 time and fourth place finish at the MEAC Champs ... best time in the 400 was 49.69 seconds, ran at the Wake Forest Open.
High School/Club: Competed in track at DuVal High School...state champion in the 4x800 meter and top five finisher in the 4x400 relay...set 4x800 record in high school...also competed at Glenarden, a sport and learning complex in Landover.
Personal: Exercise Science major at UMES...going to states was his best personal sports moment...his high school teammates and coaches are his biggest influence...has made the dean's list in college...favorite saying is "The pain is temporary but the pride is forever"...hobbies outside of sports include sleeping.
