High School/Club: Played JV Soccer and Varsity Track and Field… Which led to him having received Coaches Award, MVP Award, and being named First Team All Catholic… One of his favorite sports memories is beating La Salle in the 4 by 8 at the PCL Championship…. In the off season, worked with Ballistic Response Athletics with the Junior USTF League in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he achieved running a 22.73 in the 200m.
Personal: Born on February 7, 2000 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Haywood is a huge fan of bike riding, the Percy Jackson series of novels, and the movie Pacific Rim. Some of his greatest influences have come from his Club Track coach, Kevin Francis, who always taught him to strive for success… He has goals in mind of improving his times in the 400m and 800m by 2 seconds per year, before graduating with his B.S. in Chemistry and becoming a pharmacist.
