2014 Cross Country: Made his collegiate debut with a 16:13.93 at the UMES Lid Lifter, finishing runner up in the race ... would finish in second place for the next three events ... won his first race at the DSU XC Invitational with a time of 26:45.8 for the 8k ... finished 11th at the MEAC Championships with a time of 27:56.9.
2015 Indoor Season: Competed in the mile, 3000, and 5000 meter runs ... earned the fastest mile time of all Hawks at the Gotham Cup with a time of 4:31.35 ... achieved victory in the 3000 meter run at the Coach O Invitational with a time of 9:09.54 ... registered a time of 15:41.91 in the 5000 meter run at the Navy Invite, coming in 8th place.
2015 Outdoor Season: Ran in the 3000 meter run at the Wake Forest Open, coming in 23rd with a time of 9:13.68 ... also ran a 16:23.87 at Wake Forest in the 5000 meter ... came in fourth at the Morgan Legacy in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 9:55.60.
Personal: born June 12, 1994...is one of eight children with two sisters and five borthers...general agriculture major at UMES...participated in track and field in high school...listens to music as a pregame routine...lists dad as his biggest influence since he was him to become a responsible adult...wants to apply his skills in the agriculture sector upon graduation...best advice received is to be prayerful, obedient, honest and respectful...likes to watch movies (favorite genre is gospel)...favorite book is An Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen...wants to become a champion and role model for his team in any race.
