2015 Cross Country: Ran twice during the fall ... topped out at 23:35.98 with a 23rd place finish at the UMES Lid Lifter. 

2016 Indoor Season: Broke the school record in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.57 seconds and a 3rd place finish at the Scarlet & White in Boston ... was named the 2016 Women's Track Runner MVP for the Hawks during the campaign ... also set a PR for the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.83 seconds ... won hurldes events at Villanova and Navy's Wesley Brown Invitational, and placed fifth in a long jump event. 

2016 Outdoor Season: Reset her own school record with a time of 13.81 seconds and a fifth place finish at the MEAC Championship Preliminary ... took fifth in the MEAC finals in the 100 hurdles and earned two victories during the regular season ... set a new PR in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.10 seconds ... participated twice in the long jump with a high distance of 5.36 meters ... took second in another long jump at Navy.

2014 Cross Country: Raced five times this past fall ... best time was a 22:47.7 at the Del State Invitational with a 29th place finish.

2015 Indoor Season: Primarily ran the hurdles for the Lady Hawks ... won the event at the Nelson Townsend Invite with a time of 8.87 seconds ... earned qualification to the IC4A/ECAC Championships and finished with a time of 8.78 seconds ... also won the Coach O Invitational with a time of 9.07 seconds ... also competed in the high jump and finished tied for fourth with a distance of 1.60 meters ... had the best distance of any Lady Hawk in the long jump at 5.74 meters, which she at the Nelson Townsend Invite ... qualified for MEACs in the long jump and jumped for a distance of 5.07 meters.

2015 Outdoor Season: Broke the school record in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 13.88 seconds, replacing Julia Long's time of 14.11 seconds set back in 1991 ... time earned her 3rd at MEACs and a trip to the IC4A/ECACs ... at IC4A's Leitch finished 8th with a time of 14.06 seconds ... earned a top ten finish in the high jump at the VertKlasse Meeting with a distance of 1.55 meters ... finished 5th at the Virginia Challenge with a jump of 5.73 meters.

Personal: full name is Shelasia Ebony Leitch...born on Feb. 19, 1996...nickname is Shelly...daughter of Mercia Durant...has one brother and four sisters...human resources management major at UMES...was a National Honor Society student at Weequahic H.S. while playing track...pre-game routine includes praying, reading quotes and of course, warming up...lists her coaches from high school, parents, friends and teachers as her biggest influences, because they helped shape her life...hopes for a career as an athletic trainer after graduation...favorite saying is "If you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you will be successful"...hopes to set a record in each and every event she competes in...lists family, friends and teamwork as what matters to her.
