Biography
2014 Cross Country: Raced five times ... debuted with a 25:10.03 at the UMES Lid Lifter ... fastest time was a 23:29.2 at the Delaware State Invitational.
2015 Indoor Season: Placed 32nd at the Navy Invite in the 500 meter dash with a time of 1:27.41.
2015 Outdoor Season: Competed in the 200 and 400 meter dashes ... best time in the 200 was 28.25 seconds at the Wake Forest Open, while best time in the 400 was 1:02.45, also at Wake.
Personal: born October 19, 1995...daughter of Bruni Nelson-Gill...has a brother Steven...biology major at UMES...listens to her iPod and relaxes as a pre meet routine...best sports moment was being the lone freshman on a 4x100 relay team that went to Penn Relays...best frend Dexter is her biggest influence because he is an All-American athlete who motivates her to work hard...was in the National Honor Society in high school...hopes to go to medical school and become a doctor upon graduation...favorite saying is "Do something that makes you happy"...hobbies include cooking and eating and watching action movies...hopes to continue to improve running times and be an All-American at UMES.
