Amber Elliott served as an assistant women's basketball coach at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore throughout the 2023-2024 season.


Born in Baltimore Maryland, Elliott grew up in Marion, Maryland.


She attended local Crisfield High School from 2005 to 2008 before transferring to Holly Grove Christian School for her senior year. As a high school player, Elliott earned team MVP and Conference Player of the Year while leading her team to a 23-1 record and a Conference Championship. She joined the Hawk women's basketball program during the 2009-2010 season and went on to graduate from UMES with a Bachelors Degree in Rehabilitation Services.


In 2017, Elliott began her coaching career while providing skill development. In 2018, She opened up and co-owned a training facility called Xposure Athletics The Sports Company which provided a space designed to help players enhance their basketball skills such as development of shooting dribbling footwork and overall athleticism, working with small children to professionals. She is also a co-founder of Project Xposure Inc, a 501c3 organization that focuses on the youth and providing mentorship as well as athletic activities. Through these initiatives, Elliot has been able to travel abroad with players to experience different cultures and play competitively, as well as create a competitive AAU program with top talent from the Delmarva region.
