Trevor Callarman is in his fifth season as the Head Volleyball coach at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. This is his sixth season overall with the program.

Bouncing back from the canceled previous season, the Hawks put up a 12-14 record in 2021 while going 7-7 in the conference to earn the fifth seed in the MEAC tournament. From September 11 to 24 the Hawks picked up three out of conference wins and kicked off MEAC play with a victory over Norfolk, giving up just three sets in the four game stretch. As a team, the Shore dominated the conference with a leading 2.28 blocks per set, individually one player made the MEAC All-Rookie team and in the classroom nine were named to the conference All-Academic team. Following the season, Callarman was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association's Thirty Under 30 list.

The 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the 2019 campaign, the Hawks claimed five victories prior to MEAC play beginning, which included a five set victory at the University of Hartford. Eastern Shore went 7-8 in conference play to finish fourth in the MEAC Northern Division. The highlight of conference play came when the team won three straight from Oct. 27-Nov. 8. They fell in the MEAC Tournament quarterfinals to the No. 1 seed in the southern division North Carolina A&T in four sets. Maryland Eastern Shore finished the season as the NCAA team leader in aces per set at 2.07. The squad was second in the MEAC in hitting percentage and blocks. Two players earned All-MEAC honors after the season and six players were named to the conference All-Academic team.

In his first season as head coach in 2018, Eastern Shore battled through a challenging preseason with several Power 5 conference opponents and NCAA qualifiers to earn 10 victories. The Hawks went 7-3 in the MEAC to finish second in the Northern Division. One of the marquee wins was a victory over the eventual champion Howard on November 4 - the only defeat suffered by the Bison in conference. As a team, The Shore finished second in the MEAC for aces per set and hitting percentage and fourth in blocks. Four players earned All-MEAC status at the end of the season, and seven earned All-Academic honors. The 2018 team was awarded the highest team GPA for any program at the 2019 Harry's award at the end of the school year.

As an assistant in 2017, he helped guide the Hawks to a 27-9 record in 2017 with a MEAC Northern Division title and an appearance at the National Invitational Volleyball Championship.

Following the 2017 season, he ascended to the interim head coaching position following the departure of Toby Rens for Georgetown University. He became the full-time head coach after a nationwide search in March 2018.

Callarman has led the school's annual Nike Volleyball Camp in the summer of 2018 and 2019.

The Austin, Texas native came to Maryland Eastern Shore with more than 10 years of experience on the sidelines and 15 on the court, working and playing the volleyball circuit in his native Texas. Prior to his time in Princess Anne, his stops included a stint with Texas State University and the head men's club coach for the University of Texas at Austin.

He also worked with Austin Performance Volleyball, where as head coach he led the club team to numerous top 25 AAU finishes. He also worked in the development of a beach program and assisted with summer camps. Players who worked with the program went on to have collegiate careers at Texas, TCU and North Carolina, among others.

Along with his coaching positions, Callarman competes in the USAV Open Championships annually. In 2018, his team placed second at nationals in the Men's BB division.
