PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - Marcus Robinson fell 6-3, 6-0 in the closet match of the day as the Hampton University Pirates didn't surrender a point, blanking the Hawks 7-0 in men's tennis action at the Hawks Outdoor Tennis Complex.

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) fell to 0-9 on the season with the loss. Kishan Sudusinghe fell 6-1, 6-1 to Sung-Kwon Baek at #1 singles while Harold Fowler fell 6-0, 6-1 to Gabriel Groh at #4 singles. The only other hawks scoring in singles was William Ntirenganya who fell at #5 singles 6-1, 6-0 to Marco Herrera.

In doubles action UMES' #1 doubles team of Sudusinghe and Robinson fell 8-1 to Seo-Jae Chang and Alin Zorila-Ditoiu.

UMES returns to action on Sunday at Howard at 11:00 am.
