BALTIMORE, MD - The UMES softball team was swept by Morgan State, 5-0 and 11-3, in a pair of conference games Saturday afternoon at Baltimore.

Kristen Greenwood had the lone hit for UMES (2-32, 0-12 MEAC) in the opener. Mishayla Truttman had a game high 10 putouts while Kendra Saunders added a game high five assists.

Truttman and Jaleesa Lewis each finished 2-3 in the second decision against the Lady Bears. Truttman slso added a pair of RBI while Lewis crossed the plate two times for two of runs. Saunders picked up a hit and a RBI while Greenwood went 1-2.

The maroon and gray returns to action tomorrow when they host Coppin State in a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 1pm.
