PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - Season tickets are now on sale for the 2008-2009 basketball seasons. One low price of $75.00 gets you into every men and women's home game. That is 25 total games, 13 for the women and 12 for the men.

Buying season tickets saves over $100.00 from the gate price and is just $3.00 a game!

This season, for the first time, fans can buy other excusive packs. For just $75.00 more, $150.00 total, fans can purchase VIP status. That access gets fans entrance into the pre-game hospitality room, entrance to post-game press conferences and an exclusive VIP badge, as well as a complimentary men and women's basketball media guide.

If that sounds like too many games, fans can purchase the "Light as a Feather" plan. Lighten your ticket load with entrance to any five home games, with the exception of Homecoming, and get a VIP pass for those five games for just $50.00! That price means you get a meal and a ticket for just $10.00 a game.

The schedules feature the other Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) members, including double headers against rivals Howard on Saturday, February 7th and Hampton on Monday February 9th, as well as match-ups with Longwood and NJIT for the men and Syracuse and Delaware for the Lady Hawks.

Both the Fighting and Lady Hawks will play one exhibition game, the men against Swarthmore College and the women against Coach Fred Batchelor's former school, Elizabeth City State University.

Season tickets can be purchased from the UMES Auxiliary Enterprises Office by calling 410-651-7747, or by visiting www.umeshawks.com and downloading the brochure. To request a form to be mailed, call 410-651-6496.
