This past week the men's basketball team went 2-0 with victories over North Carolina A&T and Navy, and both Martin and Myers made significant contributions in the wins. Martin produced his first double-double as a Hawk against the Aggies this past Monday, scoring 27 points aided by 13 made free throws to go along with a team high 12 rebounds. Myers also went 3-of-4 from the floor while adding six foul shots for 12 points, which was complimented by seven rebounds.

When the Hawks had to rebound from a slow start to beat Navy this past Saturday, Martin and Myers were the main catalysts. Martin once again led the team with 17 points, but 14 of those points were scored in the second half. Myers went 6-of-7 from the field and added three foul shots to finish with 15 points.
