Oct. 26, 2015 Sophomore middle blocker Alana Polk (Houston, Texas) and sophomore setter Kirstin Fink (Tucson, Ariz.) were named the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Peninsula Regional Medical Center Athletes of the Week for the week ending on October 26.

Polk had a solid performance on the front row with six kills and six block assists in a win over LaSalle. She was on fire on offense and defense with seven kills, a solo block, six blocking assists, and two digs against Howard. She also had a .333 attack percentage.

Fink had an outstanding all around week in two matches. In those two matches she had 16 digs, with 15 assist and 11 kills in battles against LaSalle and Howard. She helped the Hawks with some killer kills in their fight against the Bison.

Volleyball has two home matches this week playing tomorrow against George Mason and again on Friday against Morgan State.
