PRINCESS ANNE, Md.
- Fresh off earning its first victory of the season - the 200th of head coach Bobby Collins career - the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) begins an arduous seven-game road swing tonight against Georgetown in the Verizon Center, in Washington D.C.

The game will be televised nationally on Fox Sports 1 at 7 p.m.

UMES (1-4) stopped visiting St Francis (2-3) the last time out, 70-57, on Friday at the Williams P. Hytche Center.

Dominique Elliott (Atlanta, Georgia), put up a career-high 21 points and four steals to go along with a game-high eight rebounds against the Red Flash. Senior co-captain Devin Martin (Baltimore, Maryland) added 18 points and fours assists, while going 7-of-11 from the field.

Georgetown (2-3) is coming of a 77-47 win against Bryant at the Verizon Center, but also lost to No. 5 Duke and No. 3 Maryland after dropping their season opener at home, 82-80, against Radford in two overtimes.

The Hoyas are led by coach John Thompson III, who is 251-118 overall and in his 12th season at Georgetown.

Georgetown has four players averaging double digits in scoring led by sophomore forward Isaac Copeland. He is also tied for the team lead in rebounding with 5.4 rebounds a game and second in field goal percentage (54 percent), which includes 10 of 22 from 3-point range.

Senior guard D'Vantes Smith-Rivera is second in points (12.8) and leads the team in assists with 4.8. Sophomore guard L.J. Peak is third with 12.2 points per game and is coming off a season-high 20 against Bryant. Center Bradley Hayes (10.2 points) is ties for the team-high at 5.4 rebounds.

Martin leads the Hawks with 14.4 points per game, while Elliott chips in 11.6 a contest and junior forward Bakari Copeland (Decatur, Georgia) is scoring 11.2 per game. Copeland (6.4), Elliott (6.0) and Martin (4.4) also lead the Hawks in rebounding.

The Georgetown freshman class - forward Marcus Derrickson, center Jessie Govan and forward Kaleb Johnson - have combined for 16.8 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.

Swing man Dontae Caldwell (Los Angeles, California) leads the way for the UMES freshmen with 5.2 points in just over 11 minutes per game.

The Hawks will look for production out of junior Joshu'a Warren (Savannah, Georgia) and Isaac Taylor (Wachapreague, Virginia) to help Elliott with a formidable Hoyas front line that boasts six players 6-foot-8 or taller - including Hayes (7-0), Akoy Agau (6-8), Copeland (6-9), Trey Mourning (6-9), Paul White (6-8) and Govan (6-10).

While the game begins a seven-game road swing for the Hawks, the Hoyas start a seven-game home stretch with the meeting.

The Meeting with the Hoyas is the seventh all-time between the two schools, with Georgetown leading the series 6-0. The last time the two teams met was a 75-51 Georgetown win during the 2000-011 season.

The game can be heard locally on Fox Sports Radio 960 AM WTGM or on www.umeshawks,com.
