March 21, 2016 PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - Freshmen outfielder MacKenzie Brown (Bayonne, N.J.) and junior hurdler Shelasia Leitch (Newark, N.J.) were named the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Peninsula Regional Medical Center (PRMC) Athletes of the Week for the week ending March 19th.
Brown recorded her first multi-hit game, going 2-for-3 with a RBI and a stolen base, in a 4-3 win over Delaware State on Saturday (Mar.19). She had strong efforts in the second game of the evening going 2-of-3 with a RBI.

Leitch won the 100 meter hurdles qualifier with a time of 13.85 seconds, which beats her own school record by 0.03 seconds, set last season.

Brown and the Lady Hawks play Delaware State tomorrow Tuesday, March 22 and Leitch and the Lady Hawks travel to Annapolis, Md. to compete in the Navy Spring Invitational on March 25-26.
