Hawks close out home slate with Baltimore foes

The Shore honors senior class on Sunday

PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore volleyball team completes its 2018 home schedule with two matches this weekend. The Hawks will battle Coppin State this Friday (Nov. 9) at 6 p.m. followed by a 1 p.m. matinee with Morgan on Sunday (Nov. 11).

A victory in either match will lock up the second place seed out of the MEAC Northern Division.

Tickets are $5 per match and can be purchased online or at the door. Live stats and live video will also be available.

On Sunday, the Hawks will honor the 2018 senior class. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for Sunday's match as seniors will be acknowledged prior to the Morgan State match.

The Hawks' opponents will also be represented at the MEAC Championship. This weekend can determine whether Coppin State or Morgan State will be the third seed. The Bears could also take the second seed with two victories coupled with two Eastern Shore losses.

Maryland Eastern Shore came back from two sets down to defeat Coppin State back on October 12th. Morgan State swept the Hawks on October 14th.
