PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland - Maryland Eastern Shore baseball travels to Towson on Tuesday (Apr. 17) to face the Tigers in a 3 p.m. matinee at Schuerholz Park.

The two teams have met six times since the 2011 season. Towson won the first four meetings but the Hawks got a victory this past April, winning 10-4 at Hawk Stadium. In that game, Jamison Trower (Chesterfield, Virginia), Ryan Rotondo (Warwick, Rhode Island), and Blake Coleman (Woodbridge, Virginia) had multi-hit efforts. Bryan Liriano (Rockville, Maryland) earned his first collegiate win.

Towson brings a 10-24 record into the week with a 4-5 mark in conference play. One member of the Tigers' roster-Dalton Swanger-played for Hawks coach Brian Hollamon while at Parkside High School.

This is the only meeting between the two schools in 2018. The matchup is a precursor for the Hawks' weekend matchup with Delaware State.
