Hawks Take On Delaware on Black Friday

Eastern Shore Plays Three Straight On the Road

PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball team heads one state to the north to face the University of Delaware Blue Hens on Friday (Nov. 29).

The Hawks (0-7) dropped their home opener against Wofford on Nov. 26 in their last game. Redshirt sophomore Walter Prevost (Houston, Texas) led the team in scoring with 10 points on 4-4 shooting and he went 2-2 from the charity stripe.

Friday's opponent, Delaware, is a perfect 7-0 this season after they defeated Stony Brook 75-61 on Wednesday (Nov. 27). Redshirt junior Nate Darling leads the Blue Hens in scoring at 23.5 points per game. That number is good enough for eighth in the country in the category.

The game can be heard locally on Fox Sports 960 AM WTGM and online at EasternShoreHawks.com. Pregame coverage begins with Will DeBoer on The Shore Sports Network 15 minutes prior to game time.

Maryland Eastern Shore travels to the Bronx after their game with Delaware to face Fordham on Sunday (Dec. 1). The Hawks face Baylor in Waco, Texas after that on Dec. 3.
