The Shore Faces Delaware State Twice in 12 Days

PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland The University of Maryland Eastern Shore will play their final road game of the season on Saturday afternoon (Feb. 23) against the Delaware State University Hornets. Tip will be at 4 p.m.

The Hawks (4-24, 2-11 MEAC) are coming off a 58-55 defeat versus Coppin State. The Eagles mounted a comeback in the second half to steal a win from Eastern Shore on Feb. 16.

Grad student Ryan Andino (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) led the Hawks with 20 points in the game. Andino has scored in double figures in the Hawks last four games.

Saturday's opponent, Delaware State (4-20, 1-10 MEAC), has not played since Feb. 11 when they dropped an 87-52 contest with North Carolina Central.

The game can be heard locally on Fox Sports 960 AM WTGM and online at EasternShoreHawks.com. Pregame coverage begins with Will DeBoer following the conclusion of the women's game between the Hawks and Hornets.

This contest will be the last road game of the regular season for the Hawks. Maryland Eastern Shore will finish their season with home games versus Morgan State on March 4 and Delaware State on March 7.
