PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore's most frequent non-conference competitor visits Arthur W. Perdue Stadium Wednesday (March 27). Mount St. Mary's will play the Hawks with two seven inning games beginning at 1 p.m..
The Shore and The Mount have squared off 40 times since 1985, with the Mountaineers winning 31 of those meetings. The past five years, however, has been more favorable to the Hawks, who have won five of the last nine.
Caleb Walston (Princess Anne, Maryland) was key to the two wins last season. He pitched a three hit, complete game at home on March 27th and gave up two over five in Emmitsburg April 10th. The final contest went into extras with the Hawks using a four run ninth.
Tickets cost $6 for the doubleheader and be purchased online or at the door. Live stats and live video are available and Drew Williams will broadcast the game.
