PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland —The University of Maryland Eastern Shore and University of Delaware baseball teams have postponed Wednesday's (March 6) non-conference game.

Frigid temperatures are expected to hit the Mid-Atlantic region this week, which is the reason for the delay.

The teams will now square off April 24th in a 7 p.m. contest at Bob Hannah Stadium in Newark. It will be the first time they have played since the 1993 season.

Maryland Eastern Shore will remain home for the 2019 Aviary Invite. Lehigh will be their first challenger Friday (March 8) at 2:30 p.m. at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.
