PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore baseball team will head to La Salle University for a Wednesday (April 10) matchup in Philadelphia. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Hank DeVincent Field.

The teams met twice in 2018, with the Explorers winning both contests. They won the Hawks' home opener in Salisbury last February 12-1, and again in Philadelphia by a 6-1 score.

La Salle leads the all-time series, four games to two. The Hawks last won back on March 24, 2010, in what was their first victory that year.

This matchup serves a tuneup for a road weekend with Norfolk State Friday (April 12) through Sunday (April 14) in Virginia.
