Eastern Shore Returns Home For a Pair of Games Next Weekend

BALTIMORE, Maryland — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball team faces the Coppin State University Eagles on Monday evening (Feb. 10) in their third straight road game.

The Hawks (3-20, 2-6 MEAC) fell in their last game on Saturday (Feb. 8) against Morgan State by a score of 61-53. Redshirt senior Ahmad Frost (Cincinnati, Ohio) scored 15 points for the second straight game off the bench against the Bears.

Monday will be the first of two meetings between the Eagles and Hawks this season. They will face off for a second time on March 5 at the Hytche Center.

CSU (7-18, 3-7 MEAC) got impressive wins early in the season over East Carolina, Cornell and James Madison. They also have the biggest upset in league play as they defeated league-leader North Carolina A&T 79-75 on Jan. 18.

The game can be heard on Facebook Live at Eastern Shore Hawks with Will DeBoer and former Hawks coach Frankie Allen on the call. Coverage will begin after the conclusion of the women's game between the two schools.

Maryland Eastern Shore will return home after their game with the Eagles and face Bethune-Cookman on Saturday (Feb. 15) and Florida A&M on Monday (Feb. 17).
