SMYRNA, Tennessee — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore went 2-1 in bracket play on Sunday at the Music City Classic to finish in fifth place in the 30-team field. The Hawks picked up a 4-0 victory against Central Missouri followed by a 4-2 loss to NTCA No. 11 Louisiana Tech.

The Hawks (84-29, 24-0 MEAC) finished the day with a 4-1 victory against No, 7 Stephen F. Austin.

Next up for the Hawks are the United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Team Championships Sectionals March 14-15.
