Hawks Aim for a Third Straight Win at Campbell

Eastern Shore Looks To Get Above .500

PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball team will be looking for their third straight win on Wednesday afternoon (November 24) when they face the Campbell University Fighting Camels. The matchup will be broadcast on ESPN+ and tip at 1 p.m.

The Shore (2-2) won their last game at Fordham on November 19 in double overtime. Senior Zion Styles led the team in scoring that night with 19 points and junior Dom London followed with 18 of his own.

After two weeks of play this season, Maryland Eastern Shore is near the top of numerous categories in the MEAC. The squad leads the conference in free throw shooting as they shoot 70.6% as a team. The squad is also second in scoring defense and field goal percentage defense after four games.

Wednesday's opponent, Campbell, sits at 3-1 on the season. Their lone defeat came at the hands of Duke. The Camels were the Big South Tournament runner-up a season ago as they finished 17-10 during the 2020-21 campaign.

The game against Campbell is the second of five straight road games for the Hawks. Following their tilt with the Camels, Eastern Shore heads to Liberty on Saturday (November 27). They will take on Connecticut and Lehigh after that to finish their stretch of road contests.
