PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball team will play their second conference game of the season on Saturday afternoon (January 22) when they take on the South Carolina State University Bulldogs. The game will tip off at approximately 4 p.m. following the women's game between the two schools.

The Hawks (5-7, 0-1 MEAC) fell to Norfolk State 72-58 in their last game on January 17. Junior Kevon Voyles led the Hawks in scoring in the contest as he finished with 12 points.

Saturday's opponent, SC State (8-10, 0-2 MEAC), is also looking for their first conference win under first-year head coach Tony Madlock. The Bulldogs are the top rebounding team in the conference as they average 42.5 rebounds per game. They also are third in scoring offense in the MEAC at 75.1 points per game.

Following their game with SCSU, Eastern Shore will take on North Carolina Central on Monday night (January 24) at 7:30 p.m. inside the Hytche Center.
