PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball team will face the Morgan State University Bears on Monday night (January 31) as they look for the second straight win.
The Hawks (6-9, 1-3 MEAC) were victorious in the last game on January 29 at Coppin State. The squad won 64-61 and got big games from junior Dom London and senior Donchevell "Tuka" Nugent.
London had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Nugent had 13 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block. All were season highs for Nugent.
Morgan State (7-10, 2-3 MEAC) was victorious on Sunday (January 30) against Delaware State. They trailed at halftime before outscoring the Hornets by 15 in the second half to win 82-70.
