BOSTON, Massachusetts – Following a fourth-place finish at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Indoor Championships in the 400m,
Ashane Beckford wasn't done striving for greatness as he headed into the IC4A Championships on Sunday, March 5 in Boston.
The senior took second at one of the largest indoor meets of the season at 47.93, also setting the top mark for the MEAC winter season.
"Going in I had nothing to lose but all to gain," Beckford said. "The indoor season so far has been a rollercoaster, I wanted to finish on a high note."
Beckford and the rest of the Hawks roll right into indoor season, starting with the Betty S Rogers Spring Invite on March 17, hosted by Virginia Wesleyan University.
