Hawks prepare for indoor championship segment with meets at UPenn and Virginia Beach


SUMMARY

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore track and field program enters the championship segment of their season after two weeks of solid results at the UPenn Classic and Pre-National Meet.



NOTEWORTHY PERFORMANCES IN PHILADELPHIA

While competing at UPenn, sprinter Andie Kollie broke the meet record with a first place run of 6.72. UMES also had a win in the men's mile as Siyabonga Mbatha took the top spot with a pace of 4:09.66.
