HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hawks jumped out to a 10-2 lead sparked by two three-pointers by guard
Evan Johnson. Little Rock seized momentum by outscoring UMES, 28-4, over the next 8 minutes of play. UMES chopped the deficit down to as low as five points before going into the half trailing by nine, 39-30.
UMES was unable to sustain a significant offensive run in the second half. Little Rock used an 8-0 run early in the half and pushed their lead to as many as 22 before going on to the 19-point victory.
