HOW IT HAPPENED
- As the Hawks looked to improve on their team standings, they started off Day 2 with three-straight wins. The No. 15 Hawks picked up win over Newman, Wisconsin-Whitewater and Carroll to begin the day.
- Despite UMES scoring over 1000 in the contest against top-ranked Jacksonville State, the Gamecocks secured the win to stop the day's streak for the Hawks
- UMES closed out the day with a 964-905 win over Lincoln Memorial.Â
