COMMENTS FROM HEAD COACH DANNY ACOSTA
Â
"I thought we could have competed and had better chances to win both games but we made too many errors and had too many walks. We gave up a lot of unearned runs and it ultimately costed us."
Â
"Our defense was not up to par today. I thought we did a poor job of making the simple plays needed to win. If we find a way to clean that up, I think we are a pretty good ball club moving forward.
Â
"We had some good moments from our offense today. We have to find ways to piece it all together to be competitive against a quality team like Alabama State."
