GAME 1 SUMMARY
Friday's opening game was a one sided affair as the Warriors of Merrimack scored in all but two innings including a seven run sixth inning to hand the Hawks their most lopsided loss of the year. UMES was also held without a hit in the loss.

Merrimack hit four home runs in the game. The Warriors totaled 22 hits while nine players recorded an RBI. The only Hawk run came in the fourth inning on a fielding error to send
Anders Brown home.

GAME 2 SUMMARY
In the second game of Friday's action, Merrimack continued to pour on the offense with one run in the first inning before a seven run second inning. UMES added two runs in the top of the third highlighted by an RBI single by
Doyle McNew. Christian Gemelli hit a solo homerun in the bottom of the inning to put Merrimack up, 9-2. Merrimack manufactured two more runs in the fifth inning to go up 11-2. UMES scored the game's final run in the sixth inning by scoring on a wild Merrimack pitch.
