THE GAME FACTS

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The game was relatively quiet through the first four innings with neither team able to get a run across.

Nola Mountain followed with a single to the outfield that pushed Holt to second and scored Perkins, giving the Hawks the 1-0 lead.
  • The sixth inning is where the Bears made their come back scoring four runs on four hits, and left the bases loaded.
  • After UMES was unable to plate any runs in the top of the seventh, MSU collected the series sweep with the 4-1 win.
