COMMENTS FROM HEAD COACH CLEO HILL, JR

"We are happy to deliver a victory on Homecoming and thank the fans for their support today."

"I thought we did a better job defensively tonight. Our guys followed the game plan and made Cheyney work for everything. I think we eventually wore them down and managed to take control through the late part of the first half."

"We had quite a few guys step up and play well tonight. We have a good group of guys who enjoy competing and earning their minutes."

"We have a long trip ahead of us with games against Nebraska and Creighton. Our focus will turn towards getting our players mentally prepared for this upcoming trip and be ready to go on Tuesday night in Lincoln."
