Notes to Know

• UMES and ECU meet for the third time since 2003, last facing each other in 2014

• UMES and FAMU played 11 times in the MEAC Tournament from 2003 to 2017. Eight of those 11 matches were in the MEAC Tournament Championship game

• The Hawks defeated the Rattlers in 2011 to win their first MEAC Tournament title. The Hawks then defeated both Hampton and FAMU en route to their 2012 MEAC Tournament crown the next year

• Saturday's matchup will be the 40th between UMES and Hampton since 2003
